VIE.PET is the responsible party for personal information collected through this website, customer profiles, order flows, WhatsApp handoffs and customer support interactions.

How we apply POPIA

  • We collect information for clear order, account, delivery, support, payment and legal purposes.
  • We use customer and dog profile information only where there is a lawful basis to do so.
  • We take reasonable steps to keep information accurate, secure and limited to what is needed.
  • We work with service providers that help us host the site, store data, process payments, communicate with customers and run deliveries.
  • We will take appropriate steps if we become aware of a security compromise affecting personal information.

Access

You may ask what personal information we hold about you, subject to identity verification and lawful limits.

Correction

You may ask us to correct or update inaccurate, incomplete or outdated personal information.

Deletion or objection

You may ask us to delete information or object to processing where POPIA allows, unless we need to keep it for lawful reasons.

Requests and complaints

Contact VIE.PET if you want to access, correct, delete or object to the use of your personal information. You may also contact South Africa's Information Regulator if you believe your personal information has not been handled lawfully.
