Seasonal treats
Summer pupsicles for warm afternoons on the estate
How we think about cooling dog-safe frozen treats for hot Val de Vie afternoons, post-walk resets and garden days.

Why frozen treats make sense here
Val de Vie summer days can turn an ordinary walk, school pickup or garden afternoon into a very warm outing for a dog. A frozen treat is not a replacement for shade, water or sensible exercise times, but it can be a useful little reset when a dog comes back inside and needs something slow, cold and interesting.
What we look for
The best pupsicle is gentle before it is exciting. We look for dog-safe ingredients that freeze well, soften nicely, and do not rely on sugar, chocolate, artificial colour or strong dairy. Some dogs do beautifully with yoghurt-style bases, while others need a simpler fruit or hydration-led option.
Portion still matters
Cold treats are still treats. A small dog, a senior dog and a very active large dog should not automatically receive the same size. We keep the format simple, but the portion conversation still matters, especially for dogs who are watching weight or already eating a complete fresh meal plan.
When to serve them
They work best after a warm walk, during a quiet afternoon outside, or as a slow enrichment moment while the family is busy. We avoid positioning them as a daily free-for-all. Used well, they are a seasonal pleasure that fits neatly around the dog's normal food routine.
Made for estate delivery
Frozen treats need timing. We make seasonal batches around local delivery windows so they arrive ready for the freezer, not as a melted afterthought. That is one of the small advantages of staying focused on Val de Vie instead of trying to ship everywhere.
